Hi all I have an MCAT prep class tomorrow with a take home review today, but I can't figure out 3 questions from textbook also. One of these is on an exam I have next week also

ALL of this deals with the MUSCULAR SYSTEM

- Explain neuromotor function?
Wouldn't this simply be our brains ability to integrate (basically interpret) and carry out the actions by coordinatating their motor or muscle functions? Like moving basically?

- This word I tried looking everywhere for, I can't find it!
"GAMMA COUPLING" Can someone give me a basic general overview in a few words?

- "Theory of movement" - Again, I looked in my books and online, but I don't know what it is? I am guessing it states the correlation between our brain and movement? Anyone have any details on this?

Thank you very much in advance, this is kind of late but I am trying to cram this in studying all night

People get their threads closed on the Pre-Allo forum when they ask for homework help.. so what's the best way around that? Post your questions on the MCAT forum as if they were for MCAT prep! Smart guy!

I just aced a neuromuscular physiology exam and this post makes absolutely no sense.

Give up all hope OP.

I'll give you some slight hints though:
-Don't ask HW questions here
-Neuromotor function... hmmmm.. I wonder what neurons and muscles do in the muscular system?
-No such thing as "gamma coupling" but there is something called a gamma motor neuron.. check out the index
-"theory of movement": you're professor made this up... probably to help you guys grasp the basic concept, look at your notes and do your own work

Please do not post questions related to homework help. This isn't a homework help forum. You should perhaps contact whomever it is provides homework/study support.
