Hey. I tried searching for this in previous threads but didn't really see an answer.

In the "reason for leaving" box, how complete do those sentences need to be?

For example, can I put "Work completed"? Or do I need to be formal and say "I completed my work"? Or "Began fourth year of medical school" vs "I began my fourth year of medical school."

Thanks.

I would err on the side of being more formal, just in case the person reviewing your application has a pet peeve regarding incomplete sentences. But in all likelihood I doubt it would matter to the majority of people.

I wasn't even planning on filling this section out for anything besides previous jobs. There doesn't seem to be a point to it for things like med school volunteer activities. Is it poor form to leave this blank?

You should fill it out. But "project completed" or "commitment ended" is fine.

We know why you stopped working on the "Gunners Club Blood Drive"...your LOR was submitted so you didn't care anymore.
