we all know it's IM ceftriaxone.
anyway the question is:
If the man says he has a penicillin allergy but does not remember if it is a rash or anaphylaxis:
should you just skip ceftriaxone for something like an AG or fluoroquinolone?
or should you actually perform allergy skin testing first?
