Anxious and finals week

Hey guys. So I try to get at least 6 hours of sleep every night and stay healthy but then all my friends pull all nighters studying and they seem perfectly fine without sleep ( I need sleep cuz I can't function). It makes me anxious because it seems like they're getting a lot more done and studying way harder than I do.. 🙁 how to destress and stop being anxious about it? I compare myself to others a lot and it's not good cuz I just lack confidence and I don't believe in myself :/

Getting proper sleep is not a bad thing. There's a chance your self confidence issues are an anxiety disorder thing, but as long as you're using your waking hours properly then your schedule is good.
 
They just seem fine. You don't know if they actually are! If you're studying just as hard as them, then there's nothing you can do. Just do you and do your best. There will always be people better than you.

And don't cut back on sleep. It's one of the worst things you can do before any test. I'm sure you have heard this many times, but just don't do it.

First of all, check out this thread on dealing with stress.

Secondly, everyone's body is different. I'm the same way as you - I can't function without sleep. I dealt a lot with what you're dealing with right now when I was high school and I know how easy it is to compare yourself to others. But everyone is different - you might be more efficient than they are. Just because someone spends more time than you doesn't actually mean they will perform better. In my opinion, you shouldn't have to pull multiple all nighters to succeed. I've never pulled an all nighter in college (I did twice in high school), and have done very well for myself. Do what works for you and forget about other people. Don't push yourself too hard because of other people.
