Hey fellow pre-dents!

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of someone having their acceptance overturned after getting bad grades for the last couple of quarters before dental school? Is it possible? Or do they just say that? I have been getting cruddy grades, like around 3 and sub 3, and I'm worried! I got a letter saying that the acceptance is conditional only if I complete the present curriculum and maintain or improve current grades. Any feedback from anyone would be well appreciated! Thank you for your time!

-a very worried and accepted predent 🙁

you might want to call the school...but most schools tell you to maintain a C average....

Every school is different. Call the school and explain your situation. What were your grades? They weren't clear from your post. What did the letter specifically say?

Yes, they can overturn your acceptance if you don't meet their standards.

Around 3 or sub 3 would be in the 2.7-3.0 range, right?

Schools should be OK with that.

ya my winter quarter grades were around 2.7 avg and my spring quarter i'm sure avg is above and around 3.3, thanks for the responses! I feel a little better haha
