Some schools are cheaper than others. For example, in the REALLY cheap side of things California State University at Dominguez Hills' tuition is $6k/semester and their residency requirements are a little more lax than other states...meaning after your first year you can apply to become an in-state resident and pay only $3200/semester. Their program is apparently really good too! Even though the cost of living in Cali is kinda high, it's a lot better to manage $6400/year in tuition.
Then there is the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Schools like USC and NYU are almost $60k a year! OT is a great career but you also gotta think about your future. How will your loans be paid off? Do you have any loans carrying over from undergrad? There are a lot of things you gotta think about.
That is why I suggested saving money. Seton Hall has a fantastic program (I applied and was accepted there for undergrad - I'm from Jersey) but the tuition was just too much for me. Cost of living in Jersey is also a little on the high side. Save money where you can.
