hey guys,

so ive just been accepted in one of my top 2 pharmacy schools and i have less than 2 weeks to hold a spot in their class. However, i have not received any news from the other school that i interviewed with. Is it ok if i just pay the $200 to hold a spot in class, wait for the other acceptance/rejection letter and decide from then. Im still debating on which school i should attend if i were to be accepted to both. I just dont like the idea of paying the deposit and not attending that school in the future...

If it's one of your top 2 schools then it sounds like you'd be happy with either one. You just need to consider the pros and cons for each school and figure out if it's worth your while to wait on the other school. That said, $200 isn't really that high of a deposit, if you changed your mind and went with the other school then at least you wouldn't be out a HUGE amount of money.

first where are you from and which two schools did you get accepted to?? congrats BTW.

There's another thread in here somewhere about the exorbitant deposits required by some schools. There are several schools that require a thousand-dollar deposit, a few that might require two grand, a bunch that require five undred..... frankly, you're in pretty good shape if all they want is $200 to hold your seat. Send the two bills and if you end up not going there, in the grand scheme of things it's not that big a loss.
