in four words i can sum it up:

crappy didactical, awesome clinical.

D1 here. So far pretty good. The only problem I see with the modular course structure is missing a day or two because you're sick, etc. Missing a day or two of lectures on a single subject area is like missing 3 or 4 weeks of class in a "normal" class setting.

D1 here tooo! The module lectures can be intense but nothing you couldn't handle. I really love ASDOH and couldn't see myself going to any other school. Everyone is so helpful and I have awesome classmates. The only thing that disappoints me about ASDOH is there is no diversity in the school. Not much culture... But overall, I made the best choice when I had to choose b/n many schools. If you get accepted to alot of schools, choose one that best fits your needs. I like the module set up b/c I think I learn alot better this way..I like that we are introduced to the sim lab to get a feel of the dental equipment the first week of school and we are now learning how to use our drills...lol

i love ASDOH. the module system rocks, our profs are the best and the people who come here are sincere. it was my top pick, and i have never regretted coming here. i LOVE it
