I think onyl thing you probably need to know, is the relationship b/w pI and pKa. Just know like what happens when pI>pka or vice versa. I dont think you need to know the pKa or pI for a particular compound.
If your asking do you need to know the numerical value of the of the PIs Ka's and PKa's of the amino acid the answer i think is no. i think it would pretty ridicules for them to expect you to know that.
