Any december interviewees hear from Maryland?

Hey,

I interviewed on Dec. 18th and I guess it is a little early to expect a response...Just curious if anyone else has heard...I absolutely loved the place and would sell my pinky finger to get in...

I called the other day and one of the admissions staff told me that the committee had not met to review the december interviewees yet - I interviewed on dec 3rd- she said we should hear within 6-8 weeks, but I hope its earlier!!!!!!!!

I interviewed there in early December, and Dr. Foxwell (associate dean) told us that the committee would meet in early January and a decision would probably arrive within a few weeks thereafter.

I'm pretty sure the admissions committee at Maryland met the first and second week of December (since they had the week of Thanksgiving off). Dr. Foxwell told our interview group that they would do their best to get us news by Christmas.

I interviewed the first week of Dec. and received an acceptance in the mail exactly two weeks later. You can imagine how shocked I was at such a quick turn around time! MD is my first choice, and I am soooo glad this process is over!

Congrats ATLdoc!! That was a fast turnaround time.

Anyone hear recently? I interviewed on 12/18 (Wednesday before the break) and am waiting anxiously.
