Hey guys anyone have experience applying to residencies in NC? I heard someone say that the UNC system is DO friendly. Just curious as to what programs you have looked into?

UNC's EM program is DO-friendly - have a few DOs on staff and in the program currently...I believe though that you have to have a USMLE score to apply for a rotation (at least that is what is on the clerkship application)...

i used to work at Duke, and i knew of a DO cardiologist that worked there and some in the ED as well.
as for UNC (i work there now), i know that there are a couple in the ED and have heard that a lot of VCOM and other DO school students do 4th year rotations there.
