  • NAD
  • citrate
  • cAMP
  • AcCoA
-----------------------------------------------------------------

which one is responsible for initiating cross bridge cycling in smooth muscle?
  • myosin ATPase
  • myosin kynase
  • myosin reductase
  • myosin phosphatase
-------------------------------------------------------
basic priciples for sequencing DNA by Sanger derive from ?
  • translation
  • transcription
  • replication
  • reverse transcription
---------------------------------------------------------

which is the most reliable criterion for pathogenicity of staph?

-hemolysis
-pigment production
-coagulase
-mannitol fermentation
-liquefaction of gelation
------------------------------------------------------------------------
each is necessary for viral antigen recognition by CD4 helper cells EXCEPT ?

-viral replication in host cell
-cleavage of viral proteins into small peptides
-transport of viral peptides to a cell surface by MHC Class ll
-binding of T cells TCR to a MHC class ll bound viral peptide
-internalization of virus progein by antigen presenting cell

------------------------------------------------
regulation of each is associated with hypothalamus EXCEPT:
-growth
-ovulation
-body temprature
-respiratory
-carbohydrate metabolism

if they give the fluoride concentration how can i measure its ppm?

-----------------------
greatest blood to left coronary art. during ?

-eartly systole
-late syst
-early diast
-late diast

i think it must be late systol .right

action potential initiated at midpoint along axon will:
propagate towards nerve ending
..........................soma
...........................both side
???im confused about this question.. b/c ive heard different answers with no explain? is anyone sure about the answer?

atherosclerosis, hyperthrophy of :
-tunica media
-tunica intima
-tunica adventitia
-internal elastic memberane

which is the most reliable criterion for pathogenicity of staph?

-hemolysis
-pigment production
-coagulase
-mannitol fermentation
-liquefaction of gelation

Answer- coagulase

haemolysis is indicative of catalase-ve streptococci, i have a flowchart which would prove quite useful on pathogenicity detection of bacteria, but due sto file size constraints, cant upload it here.

good luck for studies,
Regards.

**Answer-tunica intima
Expln- the cholesterol and macropahges and foam cells get adhered to the luminal surface of blood vessel, and his causes injury to the intima, tehreby allowing smooth muscles from media to proliferate in intima and the thickening of intimal layer occurs , leading to constriction in the lumen space.

pls correct me if am wrong with justification.

hi..i guess/sum staphylococci r coagulase negative..but all ferment mannitol agar.., so theans is mannitol fermentation..
staph saprophyticus is coagulase negative...

i don't know if you've already heard this one, but i am in love with this mnemonic device for the functions of the hypothalamus: TAN HATS

Thirst & water balance
Adenohypophysis control via releasing factors
Neurohypophysis hormone synth & release
Hunger & satiety
Autonomic regulation & circadian rhythms
Temp regulation (remember A/C for anterior cooling...posterior is for heat conservation/production when cold)
Sexual urges & emotions

So hypothalamus doesn't have any effect on respiration.. (regarding the answer of above questions) so the correct answer is respiraiton not carbohydrate metabolism.
