We had a financial aid workshop recently. One of the slides on the presentation said something like "for example, do not purchase the new Playstation 4 console." It used purchasing a new gaming console as an example of how not to spend financial aid money.

It was actually a great presentation. I'm still seriously considering buying one though.

I'd love a pimped out PC, but I really don't want to dedicate so much time to something I can't put on an app. I'll probably get back into WoW during residency when I have a 'real job'. Anyway, from what I've seen the next gen graphics on the consoles are a big leap from the predecessors. They should revamp shadow of the colossus.

I'll get a PS4 eventually, but there are a ton of PS3 games I've yet to play, so I'm sticking with that for now.
