I drive at least 2 hours a day for my rotations and am wondering if there is anything worth listening to like Goljan for Step 1. Anybody have anything good that would help for shelf exams or even step 2 down the line? Thanks 🙂

you could convert kaplan videos to audio if you wanted.....

As someone has mentioned already, I copied the kaplan step 2 video files on my PC, extracted the audio using video mp3 extractor and put them on my mp3 player. Basically, whenever I was out of work, I listened to the lectures. It was very helpful.

There are alot of great podcasts on itunes (just search under medicine) , and medpod101.com

OK I think you guys are worrying WAY too much about this test!

Remember: "2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days" or "2 months, 2 days, #2 pencil"!

Some of us didn't do as well on Step 1 as we needed to and are hoping to recover with an awesome step 2 score

You probably don't want to admit to this kind of stuff on a public forum -- it is generally illegal to make digital copies of vendor products, even for your own purposes.

I still maintain that by early MS-IV year, you're as smart as you'll ever be and you need to take Step 2 then...trust me, even a week of review (with or without questions) will seem overkill by then.

ok. thanks for the heads up.

Some people may view audio lectures as "over the top" or unnecessary, but keep in mind that some of us learn very well by audio lectures.

This guy's gotta commute 2 hours a day, why waste that listening to the traffic and weather 12 times over.
