My question is how can I choose my specialty when I have no happy , no tendency to any school subject ? I didn't dream in my childhood of being a doctor or a pilot !
Now when I read alot about specialties I felt like going for dentistry but I'm afraid that it might be a wrong choise since it might not fit me or maybe I don't have the requirments and characteristics in my personality for that !

If you don't know if you want to pursue dentistry, job shadow a bunch of dentists. If you enjoy that and you like your science classes in college, then go for dentistry.

I didn't have any hobbies pertaining related to dentistry either and thats ok. Being a dentist was also not my childhood dream and I think that goes for most people. Just start taking the dental school prereqs and see if you like them. It is a long tough road but if you truly enjoy it then it doesn't matter.

With a post that was so coherent and clearly worded like that, maybe you should just forget dentistry and join Dennis Rodman on his trip to North Korea. When you're done, take some writing classes at a local high school, write a book about your experiences in N.Korea and with Dennis Rodman. Sell the book, make millions, retire in Hawaii. You're welcome.

Was it necessary to post those in so many threads, should have just made a separate thread if you wanted to share the video ..

Wow, I can't believe how insensitive some people are to the OP... I think it's obvious that English is not their native language and that they're probably still in the process of learning (give them the benefit of the doubt). Completely downing someone's English skills is confidence shattering for them.

To Shayma, I agree with what trisigmagirl said. Try to get some job observing opportunities to see what you like best or to see what's the best fit for you. You said you don't have a preference to any certain school subject... know that dentistry requires a lot of science courses. So if you don't like science, you won't like dentistry, or any other health profession.

Then ask for higher tuition. Howard has one of the lowest tuition in the US. It's really low for a private school.

Get as much experience as you possibly can. I initially did not like science but I grew to like it later on and now I absolutely love it (sometimes teachers play a big role in how much you will like or dislike a subject). I appreciated dentistry a lot more as soon as I started shadowing and gaining more experience in the field through volunteering. The more you see what a dentist does the easier your decision will be.

First , I'm sorry I made some typing mistakes I wrote happy instead of hobby .. My nationality is lebanese and thanks for those who made comments about my mistakes its what always pushes me forward knowing that I talk 4 languages 🙂
