Any idea if NOVA is still SENDING OUT interview invites?

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has any idea if NOVA is still SENDING OUT new inverview invites or if their class is filled? I know in years past they were still conducting interviews into April but that doesn't seem as likely this year. I haven't heard the first thing from them other than a generic letter from the financial aid office that they are 'unable to process my financial aid' due to 'unmet requirements' (e.g. admission to a graduate program).

I have tried calling the school a few times but have had a hard time getting a straight answer as to their status (e.g. seats left, interviews still being sent out, etc.). Any help or updated news that you all might have would be MOST appreciated (e.g. if you've received a NEW interview INVITE over the past few weeks). 🙂

Just talked with Su-Ann, admissions director today. Thus far, we're 75% full for the incoming class and we plan on only interviewing until March 5, 2004 (tenative last interview date).

Are they still sending out interview invitations? That I'm not sure, but I'm sure they are. Remember, towards March, any applicant could be invited for an interview to be on the wait list/alternate list. So when you get an interview invitation in the mail or via phone or via email in March, be sure to ask if there is still seats left.

If you already have an interview invite now, but you're not scheduled until March, then you're OK. You only have to worry about if you'll be interivewing for a wait list position or not IF lets say you receive an interview invite in March.

Thanks for the update, Yah-E. I have had a difficult time figuring out NOVA's timetable. It's discouraging to hear that they're 75% full already...unfortunately I haven't received an interview invite. 🙁 I was really hoping that NOVA would at least INTERVIEW me...oh well..looks like time is running out for this cycle. Also, thanks for the 'heads up' as far as asking if the interview will be for the waitlist or not...especially if I do (unexpectedly) receive an interview offer! 🙂 Thanks again everyone!
