when do to next (2nd round) letters supposedly go out, any ideas? Waiting around kills faster than smoking, hurts worse than a hangover-

I would imagine the 2nd round of acceptances go out as soon as they receive responses from all the people who received the first round accepatances.

I believe for MArquette- theirs is soon..like tomorrow is when they send out second rounds.

if anyone knows what you means is ME. i think i was in the very 1st group who interviewed at IUSD. scored perfect on my interview. didnt get accepted on dec 1st. didnt get accepted in the 2nd round. got put on the waitlist on Feb 10. got in on Feb 16.

noone had more DRAMA than me. no not even TNT.lol


what i can tell you is that you just have to go about your life. you cannot make yourself go nuts. do whatever it takes to not think about it (i know its hard). if its meant for you to get in then you will. keep your heads up and wish for the best.

Traditionally, most 2nd round acceptances go out January 15th (or 45 days from the Dec 1. deadline). This is because applicants traditionally have 45 days to accept offers from schools that give them notice on Dec 1.

So, being that we are past the 15th and tomorrow is a holiday, either the letters are already in the mail, or they will be mailed out on Tuesday. In any event, I'd recommend calling schools on Tuesday to get the official word on your status.

WHAT!!! I was told Jan. 15th too and that we would know by Jan. 20th. Crap, crap, crap. I may lose my mind before this whole thing is over.
