Hi all!
I was wondering if anybody had any information/impressions/experience with the residency programs at Mayo Clinic or Brown? They look pretty good on paper (web) but would appreciate any information you've got.
Thanks!

Unfortunately, I have few specifics for you, but.....

Every resident I've spoken to that interviewed at Brown loved the atmosphere there. Many said they ranked it at/near the top.

One of my attendings did laparoscopic training there and raved about it. According to him, the surgical training is excellent and they're supposed to take good care of their residents.

Hey guys, I wanted to know if anyone had any information into the Mayo Ob/Gyn Programme. There programe is reanked high on the Gyn Surgery side but I wanted to know of their OB side and especially when it comes to high risk pregnancies. I am interested in MFM and wanted to know how prepared will I be for an MFM fellowship. They are low on numbers but I wanted to know what the acuity was like at Mayo in terms of high risk cases.

I am also considering Columbia high because of the killer MFM faculty there but the whole malignancy thing is a bit distressing. What other programme do people recommend if you want good exposure to high risk cases and want to follow the residency with an MFM fellowhip.

Cheers
