Hi folks,

I am considering a Kaiser job in Portland and am interested in hearing about pay. Northwest Permanente's pay I have been quoted is low, around 205K/year for 10/10 time before the benefits. In Sacramento it is 270K before bennies, but apparently Kaiser does not match between sites (although cost of living between Sac and Portland really isn't different). I would like to know what other people have been quoted or if you work at Kaiser currently, what pay structures are like where you work.

Please PM me (or post) with your location and details.

Thanks!

I've been out of Kaiser system for over 5yrs now (time flies), but the pay sure has improved. You will average 1.5ish pt/hr. Major disadvantage is that salary is based on 40hr work week, so you have to do a lot of shifts to make that salary....

just found out today that the salary quoted is actually based on a 32 hour work week at Kaiser Portland. so around 125 hrs/month, or 13 shifts. i know there are better paying gigs in PDX, but that makes me feel a lot better.
