I'm curious how your scores (if any) turned out on the MCAT in comparison to the Lsat. I assume most people here will say the Lsat is easier and all verbal, however I'm not interested in those opinions. I just would like to know who has taken both and how well you did on both. In other words what was the difference in scores? What do you believe the reason was for the difference?I'm getting the feeling a 160-180 on the lsat would be close to 30-45 on the MCAT based on the school possibilities it would open (GPA and heroes set aside) as well as difficulty to acheive, roughly.

mcat is more of a knowledge test whereas the lsat is more reasoning.

171 on the lsat, 33 on the mcat with a stinking 10 in verbal.
Wow, a 171 is a strong Lsat. 33 Mcat is also very good. I think 171 would be higher percentile ranking than the 33, however i'm not sure. The other person with the 168 on lsat practice tests and 39 MCAT is going in the opposite direction. This is what I expected. Probably not much correlation at all.

yeah, the 33 on the mcat is definitely in a lower percentile. my 171 was like 98-99%, and the 33 is around 90-91%, i think.

Probably 32-35 on the MCAT and low to mid 170's on the LSAT. But from 168 to somewhere in the mid 170's is like 97th percentile --> 98/99th percentile. Going from 32-39 is about 88th --> 99th percentile. That's why I think studying for the MCAT is much more fruitful. You could be a genius and make a 25 on the MCAT if you don't know the material, but the LSAT would be a piece of cake. So the correlation has to depend a lot on the amount of time spent studying for each test. Plus, it depends on what your MCAT breakdown is. If you got a 35, but it was 13 9 13 with a 9 in verbal, your LSAT will probably be a lower percentile than your MCAT.
