🙁 From all the interview invites that I see, they're mostly from out of state. Woah. :-( Why do they show NO love for residents? 😛

Well i am a Md resident and I am waiting for MD to send me back my date for my interview. When you did you take ur DAt when did AADSAS send off your application. Maybe the school doesn't have it. Have you received a card in the mail stating that they have or have not received info. I would call the school to see what's going on.

Univ. of Maryland accepts a few non-residents even if they interview 3000 non-residents...

I took my DAT in August and submitted in September. I'm from Frederick, MD and my interview date is Oct. 25. I was told that an interview will be granted to residents with a DAT of greater than 17 and GPA greater than 2.8. I'd always go in and bug them during the summer cause I worked there 🙂

Geez, those requirements are low. I know most people who interviewed there had much higher stats, 20 AA + and at least a 3.0 gpa.

As a resident... the typical minimum scores for acceptance were 19 on DAT and 3.3 GPA, so it's just lower for interviews (have to really impress them if you're low scored i guess)

Yah, it is a great school. Wish I was in dental school in Maryland right now 😀
