Armorshell said that the remaining 35 or so invites would be going out by the end of this week by UoP for pre-dec interviews.. has anyone got a call from them yet?? 😱😕

so i haven't sent the secondary fee yet b/c i wanted to see how i do on DAT first. now that DAT is over with, do you guys think it's even worth sending the fee now?

i called UOP yesterday and she said JUST TO ACTIVATE my file, it'll take 4-6 weeks. man...so by the time they cash my money, wouldn't it be too late?

I thnk you should still apply to see what happens. According to armorshell, 115 or so are interviewed before Dec 1, and even if 100% of those interview are accepted, there will be still many spots available considering that UoP has a class size of 140 or so. Plus, those who get accepted to UoP won't necessarily choose to attend there.. so yeah, if I were you, I'd definitely give it a shot late or not. 👍

UoP website says they will interview about 300. A UoP Admissions officer told me that they interviewed ~250 last year. And the interview statistics that someone posted a couple weeks ago said that they only interviewed 181 (180 accepted), with only 61 Out-Of-State interviews.. So after this week, that means that there are at least 65 more Post-Dec. 1st interviews, and at most another 185. But with automatic acceptance with interview invite combined with the fact that a vast majority of people that get accepted to UoP matriculate, indicates that it might be closer to the lower number, which is bad for most of us, including me.. 🙁

they aren't going to just cross you off the list. Although...it does show lack of commitment I'd say I left class, gym, anything for any area code that was CLOSE to the schools I applied to!

Thanks for the info! Well I work full time. I keep my phone with me and do check it every chance I get, but i can't just get up in the middle and attend all the phone calls. I work in a dental office....sometimes it gets hectic in there 🙂

I had a 24 on my RC when I was interviewed as an alternate for the 2011 class. They said it caught thier eye but wasn't the ultimate determining factor (in granting an interview, there were multiple ones) for them.

He directs my call to the admissions office, where I told the lady, I got a call? And she goes, well, did they leave you a voicemail? And I was like "You know I was in such a rush to call back I didn't even check that."

So I checked the vmail, they leave you a message telling you that you've been invited for an interview and what days they have available. I was told Nov 6, 13, or 17, and I picked the sixth because scheduling just works out a little more conveniently that way.

I got a 22 on RC and I have an interview...but I think it is more because all my scores are all-around 20+ except QR (18)
