Any MPH or MBA applicants out there?!

Hey there! I am a non trad student... I graduated from U of A with a degree in Sociology. I am pretty sure i wont get in this cycle do to low gpa and dat... i have a o3.2 and a s3.5 and 18AA/19TS/18PAT. This year i plan on retaking the DAT and enrolling in a masters. I have thought alot about SMP, but they are so damn expensive. I guess i could do a MS in Bio... but if the dentistry thing doesn't work out... that is really a pointless degree to have.

Both my state schools have decent MBA and MPH programs and i think both degrees would be very beneficial to helping me run a practice. Also if dentistry a doesn't work out, both could land me decent jobs. But what do adcoms think of these programs? Anyone have luck getting in with these degrees? Did they come up in interviews?

Also i have taken all the general pre reqs with the addition of microbio, biochem, a+p I, Calc I, and cell bio. Thanks for your help! 😎

The goal of doing a SMP is to improve your science GPA and show adcom that you can handle an all science curriculum. If you think you done enough to demonstrate that, then doing a MPH or MBA can help as well.
