Any need to keep Step 1 books?

I took Step 1 last month (passed) and just started my third year clinical rotations. I was wondering if there is any need to keep my Step 1 board review books during third year, e.g. are they helpful for Step 2 or for shelf exams, or if I should sell them for the extra cash. Thanks for your input!

Hold on to First Aid. If you got as acquainted with it as I did during studying, it's useful to lookup random facts since you know exactly where they are. I actually read over a few things, especially notes I made, during my Step 2 studying.

Yeah, I hung onto my step 1 FA book. Mainly because I had annoyed it during 2nd year and added a good bit of my own notes and occassionally have referred back to it look up a quick fact or something like the above poster. Plus i don't know how useful it would be to anyone else when most like to get the most recent FA edition and add their own notes.

Other than that I still some random shelf type review books for a few rotations but will probablly try and see those.

I hung onto my huge Robbins path text and a couple other major textbooks so got rid of random rapid review type subject books I used during first 2 years.

Other than the Step 1 FA book, are any other books worthwhile to keep for clinical rotations or studying for Step 2? I have all the standard review books, namely:

- Lange Review of Microbiology and Immunology
- Rapid Review Biochemistry
- High Yield Neuroanatomy
- BRS Physiology
- Lange Flash Cards-Pharmacology
- BRS Behavioral Science
- High Yield Cell and Molecular Bio
- Robbins Review of Pathology question book
- Lippincott Microcards
- Katzung and Trevor's Review of Pharmacology
- BRS Physiology Cases and Problems

BRS physio
Brenners pharm cards
FA step 1-- especially for drugs; good for quick review

i don't know how useful following are going to be?

HY neuro
HY cell bio

I'm done with medical school. I gave away everything except my Step 2 FA and Step 2 notes. Literally nothing you have from Step 1 study or from the basic sciences will ever do you any good. You think "oh, Ill have them for reference" then they collect dust.

My school has a Student Center. I put everything I had from step studying in that student center.

Do not kid yourself into thinking that somehow the things you learned for Step 1 will come back in some relevant way in your life. MAYBE in your first 3 rotations of your clinical years, then literally, never again
