Hi all,
Once we've matched, is there any need to keep tracking graduate school practicum assessment and therapy hours? Does it come up again later?
Thanks very much!

Great question. My first instinct would be no, not until you are done with internship and dissertation and then you need to start tracking for licensure hours. If you have an APA-accredited internship, i assumed you wouldn't need to be as meticulous about tracking what you are doing seeing that there is probably a general standard. But, not 100% sure...

Not sure of the answer either, but time2track is so easy and quick, I plan on it. It would take 5 minutes (at the most) each day.

yes, keep track, some states are changing their laws so that your predoctoral hours will count towards licensure, so you'd need to know them for that, i would think

am I the only person that hates time2track?
I do integrated primary care psych/clinical psych and im in a family medicine clinic for my externship. I literally have NO spare time at a computer to enter in what clients I saw. And I see so many different people that its impossible to keep up/make a new record for each one.

Dont mean to hijack the thread, but if you know of any other programs besides time2track, I'd be interested.

I agree. I never really liked Time2Track's interface. I've been using PsyKey APPIC which I've liked a lot more. The interface is much better and you can sort/search your hours based on practicum/clerkships so it makes end-of-year summaries to your DCT really easy. Also, its cheaper than Time2Track. Theri website is www.psykey.com.

Do you work for PsyKey? All 6 of your posts so far have been promoting PsyKey, including posting an ad in the Ad section.....for PsyKey. Your title says "student"...are you a psych student, or just a shill for PsyKey?

No, I'm a grad student. I just believe in being thorough with my recommendations. 😀

Better safe than sorry, but in my experience, all you needed to fill out for licensure was a sheet showing your weekly averages for hours. You do a separate estimate for internship and postdoc sites and have the supervisors from each site sign off...that's that. It may vary by state.
