Im still waiting to. Its really frustrating. I was just wondering what computer science you took. I need to take it in the summer to finish my prereqs.

Are you and I the only ones who have TSU in our mind and read SDN? No one else? Because not many responses posted.

By the way, to answer your question. I am an engineer. Then you can imagine that how many computer classes that I have had. I don't know which one is qualified my requirement.

Second reason: I am an out-of-towner. I took those comp classes at different school. Can you call the Director of Admissions to find out?

I was interviewed on April 4. Now, it is in my fourth week of stressful waiting. How much longer of waiting?

Does TSU send out acceptance/rejection at the same time for all applicants?

I am lost.

on my interview (apr 13th), they said the results would be out early in May, so we still have about 1 week.

you guys are not the only ones waiting on TSU. there are so many people but most of them don't post on SDN. most of them are lurker on SDN .

does anyone know tsu's policy when it comes to the grades you have for retaking classes? are they still taking the most recent grade or do they average the 2 grades that you made for that class?

I just got my acceptance letter today. Mrs Davis told me this will be the last batch of acceptance letter to sent out then followed by an alternate list letter. Goodluck to every one that is still waiting.

Did you speak to Mrs. Davis through the phone? what do you mean by alternate list? is that the same as being wait listed? and also if you don't mind me asking, what is your gpa and pcat?

Fortunately my letter was among those she sent out yesterday. she also mentioned the alternate list thing. I'm thinking it is the same as wait list. but don't loose hope yet, it is not over until it is over.
my GPA is 3.6 and my pcat is 68

I transfered to TSU last fall. I already had all the pre-reqs so the only classes i took/now taking are Pharm Orientations 1 & 2, Pharm application, and medical term.

TSU doesn't send then out at the same time.....all Acceptance letters are sent out first, then wait-listers and then all rejection letters last.

I know because last year, i didnt get my rejection letter til the end of may.

I don't think that is true with the GPA and PCAT. I think TSU did a good job of admitting well rounded students this year. They are respounding to the falling passing rate in their board exam. The person that has a 3.0 Gpa might be stronger in other areas like community service and experience. I have friends that have 3.5 and above and average PCAT but they didn't get accepted. In my case, though my pcat isn't so great, a 3.6 GPA is pretty solid. I have 2years of pharmacy experience and tons of volunteer hours. I belong to lots of organizations and I smiled alot during my interview that one of my interviewers asked if I always smile like that. She said it is a good quality as a pharmacist is supposed to be friendly and approachable.

Though the interview is an open file interview meaning that they have all year information right in front of them during the interview, they still asked me about the community service. It was an opportunity for me to elaborate more on the different experiences I had during each of the community services. You don't get enough space in the application to put all that; so interview kinda gives you the opportunity to do that. I volunteered for some big name organizations that caught their attention and they wanted to know what I did for each one of them. Like Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, Alliance for Lupus Research, American Cancer Society. and alot of others. I also did the medicare assistance program for my county. Just to mention a few.

My Psychology instructor made us sign up with the website my first semester as a pre-pharmacy student (spring 2003). I didn't even know then that community service was a requirement for pharmacy. it was just part of the course for the semester. I have been able to do alot of activities through them since then.
