to all nbde part 1 aspirants....
the nbde part1 exam is not the same as before..itz more inclined towards clinical dentistry......i took the exam a little more than a year ago.....i had a tough paper.......but dont get me wrong.....the recent exams are TOUGHER, indeed!
so...my suggestion...dont get scared.....BE PREPARED!!!
KAPLAN REVIEW MATERIALS,MOST RECENT DENTAL DECKS(2006-07),USMLE AND NBDE1 MADE EASY BOOKS are mandatory for your preparation..but some books u may find very useful.....like BRS(BOARD REVIEW SERIES),....okeson for TMJ and occlusion.....
these were the books I studied......and I got a decent score........
Moreover..itz not only the time u put for studying..u need to study the right stuff and the right materials for studying..it is important!

Hey guys! Did you guys all come from India or did you live here go to do dentistry there and then come back? I'm debating on whether or not to go and try to do dentistry there and then come back. How long does it take to get a BDS degree there? and how good are your chances of coming here and practicing?

u can take up ur part1 if u r still in ur 2nd year...as most of the portions included in the part1 exam are already covered in the first 2 years of BDS...isnt it?

i dont know much about dental education in india, I am moving there in a week. How many univeristies in usa can you apply to whilst taking part 1?
 
I always wondered if it is possible to get an Indian citizenship...

I guess I will have to marry an indian chick in order to get that, any takers?😍

Hi there,

I want to be a Doctor before 30 and am already 24!

Now I have a few queries:
1. Since I had pcmb for 2 years ( physics, chemistry, bio) in my11th and 12th grade. Do I still need to meet Pre Med req for Med school applications after passing Mcat.

2. I already have a bachelors of Commerce( finance major) from India with 3.7 GPA, does that help me for my med school application😎

3. Do you know any good MCAT teaching classes in San francisco/South Bay.

Hi
You can first get nbde materials like decks, asda papers, kaplan review and first aid. Then go for a mobile app NBDE mastery that mimics the exam questions. Hope this helps.

I am also in new jersey and planning to start prep for nbde.
But I wont be in US for more than 2 years. Is there any other dental short term courses/jobs I can go for here in NJ?
Any help will be helpful.
