Does anyone know of banks that offer educational loans above COA at this time? My DH asked at his financial aid office and they told him Wells Fargo, but they don't offer these anymore.

WF does offer these for medical students, not sure about other professions, but not directly for just cost of living increases. MedCapXtra -A is up to 12,500 for the cost of board exams, prep courses, housing, whatever. There isn't any proof required other than your school must verify that you are in your second year or greater. MedCapXtra-B is for fourth year students and is up to 15,000 for the cost of interviews, applications, etc. for residency.

Thanks! We called and it is not available anymore - unless you are fourth year. Still looking .
