Noticed the little to no talk about OSU.. I interviewed two weeks ago today, and according to what they said at the interview have another two weeks of waiting to do. Anybody interview recently? Anybody accepted? Anybody have an interview scheduled?

I interviewed in November, received my acceptance package around Thanksgiving but declined (DMU or UMDNJ-SOM are cheaper for me). You're right that it doesn't get a lot of buzz, and it seems to be especially quiet this year. If you search, there was a thread about OSU that probably hasn't been posted on in about a month. Good luck! The students there seem very happy with their choice.

Actually OSU is the only school that I applied to that I have not heard back from and my app was complete in early December. I am an out-of-state applicant though. How long did it take for you to be offered an interview? Are you in-state?

I'm instate. I had problems with AACOMAS so my app was complete on Dec 21. I had an interview offer just after New Year's. They received my secondary in early November..

I just interviewed on Monday! I'll post as soon as find out. My application wasn't complete until the beginning of January because I also had problems with AACOMAS. Good luck! 😳

Actually OSU is the only school that I applied to that I have not heard back from and my app was complete in early December. I am an out-of-state applicant though. How long did it take for you to be offered an interview? Are you in-state?

Hi, Britt! I am also an OOS applicant who was complete in late Nov. I received an invitation to interview on Tuesday of this week. Hopefully, you will hear something from them very soon. 🙂

Is everyone as nervous as I am!? Will it take 2 weeks to get acceptance letters, or 2 weeks to get the re-application and waitlist? This is as bad as waiting for MCAT results.

I'm confused. If you're waiting for your acceptance/reapplication/rejection letter, why did you post in the "Official Acceptance" thread? When I interviewed, they said it would take two weeks to find out, but it was more like nine days (I was waitlisted, but those who were accepted found out the same day as I did). Good luck to you, though and I hope to see you in August.

Of course I called them every couple of days and pestered them until they admitted to sending me a FedEx so I would leave them alone.

It all depends on where your interview fits into their schedule of meeting to make decisons on acceptances. Sometimes it is about a month, other times it is much shorter b/c the interview date is very close to the adcom meeting date.

When I log on I always read the most recent post first. The most recent most at the time I posted was on the "official acceptance" spread and I hadn't even taken the time to notice what the title of the thread was. My mistake for not paying closer attention! I will post my response as soon as I get it though!

oh well, the official acceptance thread is totally screwed up for osu anyway because all the osu responses got eaten (someone posted their acceptance to the wrong thread or something). there were at least two people who posted that they had been accepted to osu, and now it looks like no one has.

Has anyone heard anything yet? Correspondence was sent out yesterday (Wed.), so some of us should be hearing something very soon. What type of FedEx does OSU use? Priority, ground, or what? I was hoping to maybe hear something today, but since it is now 9:00 at night I think the day is done.

I called today and they said that we should hear something this weekend. I'm thinking tomorrow since it was sent on Wed. and I only live 2 hours away.

I haven't gotten anything yet, either. I figured any type of FedEx would take just one day to make it from Tulsa to Stillwater. My snail mail comes pretty early in the morning, so I guess I'll find out then. No bad news in the snail mail, should mean a FedEx in the afternoon.

I think they do second day fedex. One day costs a fortune, so that makes sense. Don't panic!!
