UCLA just sent a bunch of secondaries out.

I'm an aug mcater and my apps were complete around mid october.

hey ucbdanc00, i took the mcat in april...completed my app in june...was sent a secondary in aug and interviewed in dec. I am not sure what pattern they follow or how they evaluate 😳( i hope you get your secondary soon though!

Well come on, don't you see that some of us mortals are perplexed as to why we haven't heard from our state schools?

Ah. I was under the impression that the OP had received a secondary from UCLA. S/he didn't make it very clear. Seemed like the OP was wondering whether other people were getting secondaries too or if s/he was an aberration. Sorry, ignore me...I'm just slow and mentally challenged.

The UCs are confusing as heck...its hard to say why they do or don't give an applicant a secondary/interview/accept. Too many cali applicants for not enough state school spots.
