anyone know of any schools that pay more attention to GPA, ECs, LORs, etc. and do not consider that MCAT as heavily? i dont even know if these kind of schools exist, but i thought i would ask anyway.
The allopathic schools with low MCAT scores are either state schools or HBCs. I don't think there are any American schools that don't consider the MCAT heavily: yeah, there are schools that are willing to look at a full-package, but the MCAT is still going to be a big part of it
Also, most of the the private schools with lower MCAT scores tend to get FLOODED with applications (look in the MSAR, but it's not uncommon to see some of these schools get 7-8,000+ applications)
