Any seniors here not doing a laboratory-research based thesis?

I'm not too interested in laboratory research for my senior thesis, and one of my majors requires a "hands-on" experience (either an internship, thesis or laboratory-based project) during senior year. Is anyone here doing a senior thesis about something within the realm of health or medicine? I was thinking of stuff like population health, epidemiology, etc. for a thesis in my health science & policy major.

I'm planning to do something along the lines of birth in rural Africa (will get more specific than that, but I haven't started yet...). Based on some personal experience, but mostly lit. review.

Medical anthropology - ethnography of a psychiatric hospital. It also has public health applicability.
