Title sums it up, does anyone know if there is decent parking near NYUCD. I would much rather drive even with city traffic, to not have to get on the train at 630 in the morning. :xf:

Some of the streets nearby have free parking. My cousin lives in 22nd between 1st and 2nd (which is VERY close to the dental school), and whenever I go to his apartment, I just park on the street. Many of the surrounding streets have free parking too. Just make sure there isn't street cleaning or whatever on that day, and read ALL of the signs!

if you come really early in the morning you can find parking, its per hour so just pay for the whole day, or worst comes to worst park in a lot it might cost anywhere between $15 to $20 for the whole day.

Park at a PATH station in Jersey. The toll to come into Manhattan along with parking fee at a lot (close to $30/day) isn't worth it. Even if you come early in the morning you probably won't find anything as the residents (who have to move their vehicles due to street cleaning) and commuters will snatch up those spots first.

You're right, I was thinking that the dental school would be located around Washington Square Park. But it's located on 24th and 1st. What a crappy location, SMH why did they locate the dental school here?

i live in brooklyn and its still a major pain in the ass for me to get there lol the undergrad is on west 4th, thats an awesome location. this one is half way near the ghetto and half way in the middle of nowhere. thats the worst part about it. its convenient to drive there, but if i go there i know im gonna have to dorm. i cant afford to waste 2 hours a day on trains. but i know rent is gonna suck.

This is why NYU is my backup lol if there is such a thing with dental schools.
