I'm a statistics major, and I would like to hear others' experiences. It seems like stats is not a very common major among pre-meds.
What type of research (if any) did you participate in?
Did stats help you get a leg up in any part of the application? (MCAT, interviews, acceptances)
Did you enjoy being a stats major? Why or why not?
Was it hard to keep your GPA up and juggle academics with extracurriculars?
