Hi all - just wondering if anybody has any tips on studying drug interactions. It is probably one of my weakest areas, along with dosing.
Do you usually just memorize the major inducers/inhibitors of the major enzymes, and then memorize the common substates as well?
I'm studying for the CPJE btw, which I know tends to be pretty specific with things like this. I am finding it a bit overwhelming going through RxPrep and trying to remember all these different interactions at the end of every chapter (with many drugs having their own specific interactions that are not even class-specific).
Maybe it would be better to try to focus on the major/common interactions only, but with the CPJE being so specific I'm not sure whether that's a smart move or not.
Any advice appreciated - thanks!
