I have taken 7 PAT exams from Crack the DAT, once per week.

My scores improved except for Angles section! It remains in the 60% range (53.33-66.8%).

My first PAT exam scored at 53.4%, then 68.4%, 79.3%, 79.3%, 79.3%, 88.5%, 88.5%. Starting from the 3rd exam, my overall scores did not increase much and it's because I did not make any progress on the Angles section.

Any helps would be greatly appreciated!

I did tried the head tilting and the ride the bike tricks, but they did not help much.

Have you done any boot camp exams? Try and use their angle generators. I personally used the rapid eye technique with a bit of the hill.

Your overall PAT score is pretty killer, nice work. I personally think angles is the hardest section to improve but here are a few techniques I felt were helpful :

1st) Determine which angle looks the BIGGEST and/or determine which one looks the smallest

Sometimes the largest is easiest to see and other times the smallest is easier to see and if you're lucky they are both easy to see.

2nd) Compare the largest to the other other angles. You might not always be able to visualize a 3 degree difference between the biggest and the 2nd biggest but you can probably visualize a 6 degree difference between the biggest and the 3rd biggest...

Obviously, this technique can be utilized the other way around by comparing the smallest angle to the larger ones...

3rd) For me, if I was having particular trouble I would ask which ones look like the letter "L" and which ones look more like the letter "V". The more of a "V" shape it looks the small the angle and the more of a "L" shape it looks then the larger the angle. Obviously, this specific technique might not be for everyone but I definitely thought it helped..

4th) Realize all of these methods should be used in conjunction with the rapid eye technique

I have not try bullet point 3 yet. It sounds promising, I will apply it to see if my score improve. Thank you so much for the tips!

No, I only use Crack the PAT software. Isn't DAT boot camp just consists of PAT questions like Crack the PAT?

Try Bootcamp. It's hard, but the best resource there is. Crack the PAT is too easy compared to the real DAT. And just keep practicing.

It consists of 10 practice pat exams and generators. it also has a science and math practice exam portion that will help you learn those as well.
