any updates on NYU or USC waiting list?

I was wondering if anyone got acceepted to either place this week?
the wait is slowly killng me :/

Though the class is full at USC, I believe there are some people with multiple offers and maybe some holding multiple seats. I have recently seen some posts like "USC vs. Creighton", "USC vs. UNLV", and "USC vs. Loma Linda". Based on that, I'm guessing some more seats will open up.

If the adcom meets once a month and then releases some seats (like they did Mar. 6 and Apr. 3), maybe there will be some more activity in early May. This is just my best guess. I really don't know how that all works, so maybe seats will open up sooner (or later).

I'm waiting on USC too. Good luck to us! Also, good luck to you with NYU. I hope you get the one you want.

Since the next deposit for USC is due on May 1st, and assuming there are many students that are holding spots at more than one school, this date would be the most likely time for these students to forego their deposit and either make a decision or save some money. There should be some movement, and it is likely (hopefully!!) that the adcom will meet just after this date and send out some more offers.
I am still waiting on an offer, and really hope to get one! Good luck to everyone!

When my buddy interviewed at nyu on the last day... the 11th, they said they still had open seats. So i'm assuming we will see some good movement.

I interviewed back in November at USC and i am still on the alternate list. I talked to brian and he said that the class is full. If 1 spot becomes available like today, he said that the adcoms will pick somebody by the end of the day and notify the next person on the list. So, i don't think there will be anymore monthly meetings.

he also mentioned about may 1st deposit deadline so hopefully some spots will become available.

I am trying to stay optimistic. At the same time, I don't think that many spots will become available. Unlike previous years, USC is a popular choice this year and even their interviews ended earlier than planned.

Congrats BioMax I just into USC too... time to rescind my acceptance to NYU so I'm opening up a spot at NYU... hopefully I can recover some of my deposit money, but if not, se la vie.
