Hey all,

I was wondering if any of you were in m boat and hadn't heard anything, good or bad, from SLU since very long ago. For me it has been until July. There is no reall way to contact them either, so I am just wondering whether I should write off St. Louis at this point in the game and look at my other options. My SO is weighing out his options in St. Louis and this information would be really useful right about now! Would a letter of intent be a possibility in a case such as ours (where one party has an offer in the city of St. Louis)? Thanks!

I've received no word from them either. Complete Early August.

I've nothing in a long time too. I think I was complete before September.

it seemed like SLU has a lot of movement of people. i was accepted and withdrew in October. I think it would only help to show your interest in SLU. I have a lot of family in STL and I let them know this and got an interview within a week or two of completing my secondary. An update letter, letter of interest, or letter of intent (if SLU is your top choice) might help you out. I would send one to the admissions office or directly to Dean Willmore. He's a nice guy.

Things appear to move pretty fast post-interview though. I was put on the alternate list exactly a month after my interview 🙁.

do they ever reject anyone post-interview or do they simply put everyone who is not accepted on the alternate list?

I got an interview invite there yesterday, it was maybe not cooincidently a day after I sent them an email requesting a status update.

I was complete for several months without hearing a word. Although they seem slow pre-interview, they are pretty efficient post-interview. I got my acceptance 2 weeks after my interview! I would definately send a letter of interest. Good luck!

I just checked your profile...I interviewed the same day as you. I haven't heard anything yet. Did you get your notification by e-mail or snail-mail?

it's by email.

How was the interview day structured? I have an interview coming up on the 22nd, so any advice you can give would be great....
