Anybody asked for a deferment?

I was just wondering if anybody has received a deferment from entering in 2006 to 2007? I running into some financial troubles and am wondering if this is a viable option to use?

At which school? What reason did you give?

I did it for 2005 entering class. I will start at 2006. This was for COMP because I wanted extra time to finish my Ph.D thesis. CCOM does not allow you to defer unless you are physically unable to attend (ie: sickness). So you should check the policy with each school.
