I know they're big on copyright infringement. But looks like they might have missed something.

I just happened to stumble on a glitch or loop-hole where you can take screenshots of their Qbank.
And no. I'm not going to copy their Qbank. I was just wondering if anybody else stumbled across this?

Windows 8 pro - download the microsoft app OneNote -- swipe open side bar - press button "share"--- press OneNote ---will take the screenshot. ---press send.

No point in doing this as their subscription timed format is the essence of the program, but you could potentially now save all your uworld slides on OneNote and even edit or write on them.

Strange how they missed this.

the first rule about Uworld glitches/loopholes is you DON'T talk about them. especially on a public forum.

guarantee that glitch will be fixed very soon. that company is hella paranoid about their stuff getting pirated.

OneNote itself is just an app. There are hundreds of these types of apps out there. I mean, you could program one yourself.

For them to correct this glitch,. Uworld would have to implement software that would disable the Windows 8 share fxn.
Could be an easy fix. But I'm not sure.

I mean they might have to enforce a no Windows 8 ban. IOS only. 🙂

I think Uworld should understand that their value lies mainly in their timed block testing format. Even if someone pirated their qbank, the info itself is not nearly as effective as their subscription format. Hell, pirated copies probably would only encourage students to buy a subscription to use their timed format. They need to chill, and stop treating students like criminals because theres always going to be new ways to circumvent prohibitions.
