So a couple of weeks ago when I was on the up and up with my Bio review I got a 7 on a PT Bio. Now that I let my bio stuff slide for a little I took a PT and got a 9 this weekend, wth?

The thing is when I got that 7 I felt like I was doing good, but when I got the 9 I thought I was doing terrible and was gonna get like a 6 on the section.

Does anybody else feel like their scores are higher on PTs and sections they feel they bombed? And then the ones you think you dominated on end up being low? wth.

No

Two tests is not enough to establish a trend, you likely just got lucky with the specific material tested.

When it comes down to it, its only 52 questions so theres alot of stuff you studied that will be left out.

I decided to not study verbal anymore using test-prep sources, just the occasional articles here and there. I've been scoring 10 - 11 on the AAMC exams I've taken thus far, so I think I need slight modification to my thought process to get 13+. I've gone through TPR/EK passages and if anything, they've convoluted my thought-processes far too much. With a section so arbitrary and subjective in terms of 'logical' answer choices, I honestly feel a lot of the test prep companies' verbal materials can lead test-takers astray.
