Hello everybody. I just wanted to see if anybody may be able to offer me some ideas or advice. I am an applicant for admission to medical schools in 2012. I have a 35S MCAT score, 3.77 GPA and 3.85 Science GPA. I put myself through school by working graveyard shift as a 911 dispatcher, so I wasn't able to attain much clinical experience during my undergraduate career. I am attaining clinical experience now through shadowing and volunteering in two clinics, but I wasn't able to put that on my AMCAS application. I sent in all of my secondarys about two month ago and also sent update letters talking about the clinical volunteer positions I was participating in. So far I have heard absolutely nothing from most of the schools I applied at (rejected at one and wait listed at 2). I am getting really frustrated and don't know if I should even hold out hope for getting accepted this year. Does anybody have any thoughts?
