Anymore interviews for Michigan and Columbia?

Did anyone get interviews recently? Are all the Nov. interviews filled up?

For Columbia, I heard that pre dec 1 interview invites are all filled up.
Someone scheduled last week and the earliest date is in Dec. now.😳

I think same goes for Michigan. They look like they got a lot of out-of-state students for early interviews. I am hoping they show some love to in-state-students..

Had a Michigan interview on Friday (I am from Michigan). It was pretty interesting, not too stressful. There were 2 sessions, 30 people each session, 10 multiple mini interviews (moved to different people, each one had a different question - mostly about ethics, they rated your answer 1-5 pts.), tour, light lunch or dinner depending on your time. They said an e-mail on Dec 1 is bad news a call followed by snail mail is good news.

I think Mich only interviews through January and they set up they're interviews about a month in advance. So if you don't hear by mid-December, you are probably not going to hear anything, I don't think, because Pattie (admissions director) said the school interviews 300 candidates only. As far as post Dec 1st interviews go, I don't know how much you would be interested anyways. I know if I were already accepted at one school, I would have no interest in a school that has only begun to show any interest in me.

Wow if paul510psu is not invited, I don't really get it, did you take the DAT late or something? I don't get how Michigan is selecting their interviewee, because on predents I see some people with pretty bad stats already interviewed..

I can't believe Michigan didn't send you an invitation to interview yet. I had an interview last Friday, my stats are pretty good, but yours are better. I don't get it. You also have a lot of the extra activities most schools look for. Maybe they figure you're going to get in to & choose another school?😕

Columbia is done with their initial pool of interview invites. If people withdraw, more pre dec interview spots will become available. At this point if everyone were to get accepted in this pool and commit, their interviews will be done for this cycle. However, I do believe that many will decline and many more spaces will become available after Dec 1. Don't worry guys!

Nah, I took the DAT on May 22nd. That's why I'm surprised that I haven't even heard from them. VCU is the same way, they just aren't showing me any love. If I get accepted early in December then I'm going to have a tough time turning that acceptance down to wait on an interview at one of those two schools. I should just call them and withdraw my application.

We'll see how it plays out. Haha, if they're not interviewing me because I'm a Penn Stater then that's just ridiculous.

I will be one of those people that decline an acceptance from there if I am accepted to any of the other schools I have interviewed at... and I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this way...

The interviews do make me feel better about things but I need that acceptance! And trust me having these many interviews is a bit much, I've spent soooo much money... all my credit cards are maxed out! If I get another one I don't think I'll be able to afford it...
