Anyone Applying to MS Ortho for 2005

Hi a big hello to all ya guys in here.... i got toknw about this grp just browsing onthe web... well this tuely is one hellova place to make frnds and get help with out quest towards making it in the US.

Well im starting my part 2 studies soon. i joined this group just yesterday ...and have speand almost half of my nite yesterday and today morning reading all the posts b4...

well ive taken my part 1 in july 04 ..got 92 average.... i wanted a little more... as ive applied to MS ortho.. but dont knw after reading a few posts on ortho..i doubt im gonna get interview calls...well lets see,...time will tell. may be i will apply for GPR or advanced standing... but i dont think i'll gather funds for advanced standing prgms...

part 2 will be tuf..i knw.... there are 2 univs who want me to give part 2 soon..so lets see how soon and how well i can prepare for it.. i may study for just 3 weeks or may be 2 and give it for the sake of it..i mean i will try my level best in this time...but dont knw how long is enufff for the studies

there 2 people i knw who studied for 1 month and one scored 95 and the other 75.. i dont think i can study for so long.. if i want to update my file with my part 2 at these univs...

I wanted to ask if any of you guys HAVE OR ARE APPLTING TO ORTHODONTICS FOR 2005....

Infact I thought of applying to MS programs this year but when I started gathering info in PASS website it said we should submit letters of reco only in the format that they have..but since I don't have it in their format and it's not an easy job to get them new from my college I kinda gave up the idea of applying to MS programs 🙁 ..It's also becos I am applying to IDP this year & as we cannot afford to spend a lot of application fee at a time 😱

Yah i knw dental doc...
getting those letters was one heck of a job for me too..
but i managed it somehow... im applying to 18 ortho programs and currently doing my MPH...not applied to anything else..like u said no money..... i knw what u mean..bout the application fee....its too much for foreign dentists...
I happy that god helped me with strength and perseverance to finish the applictn procedures,...
IDP is too expensive man... tooo much..!
