Apply for residency in the last semester of AS program for International students

Hi
Could international students apply for residency when they are in the dental school in US, while they are attending their AS programs( 2 years advance standing)?
Because most of universities graduate their international students after residency deadlines.
Does anybody know?

Yes u can, I know someone who is in his D4 and at Michigan AS program and got accepted to UIC for Prosthodontics residency

If you want to apply as a US graduate you need to wait for the next cycle after you graduate.
