Hi! I'm applying to grad schools in VA for OT school. My main two schools I'm applying to are Shenandoah University and VCU. My app for Shenandoah was verified 9/23/17. Really hoping I hear back from them! Anyone else applying to OT programs in VA or have already heard back?

Hey! I'm applying to Shenandoah, and my application was just submitted yesterday. I'll keep tabs on this post and list updates as they arrive.
I'm just curios tho, for yourself and anyone else this thread applies to.....
What are your stats?
What lead you to apply to the Shenandoah MOT program specifically?
Where else have you applied?
Thx! Good luck to everyone!

Hey guys! Has anyone else been asked by Shenandoah to come in for an interview?

Yep! mine is also Jan 8th. Does anyone know if there is an option to reshedule for a different date?

I already had an interview January 9th at Midwestern in Arizona and was traveling the 8th. I emailed back requesting to do the interview VIA Skype on the 8th or on that Friday the 12th in person (I live in Texas and go to school in Arkansas). They have not replied.

That's a lot of traveling! I accepted the interview and they still have not replied yet to give me more information. I'm sure they are waiting to get responses back from everyone before they reply to emails, maybe? Good luck on your interview at Midwestern! What are your top choices?

Thanks Psychgirl! It would be awesome to go back to Texas and have in-state tuition but I have applied to other states and programs that are near family to give me more options as my GRE is not the greatest. My Uncle and Aunt live in Maryland. Shenandoah looks like a great school. Let us know if you hear back from them. I have an interview at Texas Tech December 8th and will be shopping for suits this weekend🙂

Awesome, good luck!! Let us know how that goes! And I will let you know! I’m excited/nervous as this is my first year applying!

Have you heard from VCU yet? It is my first year applying too. I didn't apply for early decision just regular admissions.

Nope haven’t heard from them yet I applied regular decision - there deadline just passed so I’m sure we won’t hear anything until January or so.

Hi everyone! I'm a student in Georgia and I applied to Shenandoah's OT hybrid program in Winchester. I recently got an interview date of January 9th 2018 and I couldn't be more excited to interview for their program 🙂

So from the looks of it they are only doing interviews the 8th and 9th? I'm super excited/nervous. Good luck to everyone! Shenandoah is my #1 choice! (And 1 of 2 places I applied! So definitely took a chance as a first time applicant lol)

Hi everyone! I currently attend Shenandoah University and I absolutely love it. I also applied to their OT program and have an interview!

Hey y'all! I'm so happy I found this thread.
I also have an interview with Shenandoah on January 9th! I'm so hopeful and excited, but super nervous as well since I'll be coming up from Florida! It'll be a huge transition but I love this school already. Does anyone have any general ideas on the questions we might be asked on during the interview? This is my first one.

I also have an interview Jan 8th! I am super nervous and excited. Good luck to everyone!

Only 3 days away! And Norfolk has just been hit with 14 inches of snow so cheers to me trying to get out of this place so I can get to the interview! lol Good luck to everyone 🙂

Interviews are tomorrow, good luck everybody! I’ll be around Winchester today preparing for the interview and feeling out the university. If anyone is around town and would like to practice feel free to message me!

Good luck to everyone interviewing today! Would yall mind giving some insight into how the day went when it's all over? Some of us aren't interviewing until tomorrow. Thanks 🙂

We had breakfast and then they briefly went over the program. The group activity was fun and easy, and then we took a tour and waited around until it was our scheduled time to be interviewed. It wasn’t bad at all, you will be fine!🙂

The noon interview slot was cancelled so there will be a group of us there tomorrow as well. The university closed due to inclement weather 30 minutes prior to our scheduled interview so we were gathered quickly for a brief overview of the courses and a tour of the building and asked to come back tomorrow or would have to schedule a Skype interview at some point.

Has anyone heard anything from Shenandoah since the interviews??

Congrats guys! Is Shenandoah yalls first choice?

I actually was just accepted to another program on Monday and they offered me a scholarship so I’m leaning towards that one. I still have to draw up a pros/cons list and I’m waiting to hear from other schools, but I most likely won’t be attending which will free up a space for someone else 🙂

Congratulations to those accepted yesterday! I haven't heard anything yet (other than the email last week about making decisions by the end of the month). Trying to stay hopeful! Has anyone heard anything back other than acceptances yet?

Does anyone know all of the dates for Jefferson College of Health Sciences interviews?

Has anyone heard back for the 2/2 and 2/9 interviews?
I got a call last Monday about scheduling an interview and was given a choice between the two February dates. I was told I would be sent an email with more information and haven't received it yet so I'm assuming that means they haven't filled all the interview spots yet.

I haven't heard anything else from Jefferson after they sent a letter (twice) saying they received all of my application materials and would let me know if I was selected for an interview. It has only been mail correspondence. I'm also waiting to hear back from Shenandoah!

Has anyone heard back from Shenandoah yet this week? I think they said we might hear back 2-3 weeks after the interview date as well, and today makes 2 weeks. Or has anyone heard from Jefferson? I imagine they would have to give us at least a week or two notice and I know the February interview dates are coming up...

I got an email on the 12th from Shenandoah saying that they would send out either acceptance or alternate list decisions by the end of January, and that is the last I heard.

I am still waiting to hear back from them as well. Hopefully news is coming soon.

I tried emailing them to double check when they might send out more acceptances, but no one got back to me..
