Anyone doing a residency at DMC in detroit?

I would like to know if anyone is doing a residency at one of the DMC hospitals in Detroit. If so, how is it going and what's it like? I will be a MS1 at WSU in the fall and I am very passionate about gas and I difinitely want to do my residency with DMC(preferably Recieving. 🙂

there are only 2 anesthesia residencies in Detroit (WSU and Henry Ford). I believe the WSU anesthesia residents rotate through a few of the DMC hospitals including Detroit Receiving. I can't remember if the Henry Ford residents rotate through Receiving at all, but I'm pretty sure they rotate through the Children's Hospital. The only other anesthesia residency in the state is in Ann Arbor.

Residency at WSU/DMC is run out of Harper, but we also rotate at Receiving. Good program. The guy in charge is very active with the medical students and residents, helps the WSU-4s with residency selection, and helps us with fellowship positions. Talk to him.
