Hey there. I was searching around on the forums to find info/opinons if anyone has done the Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars option from SGU. It's where you do first year in the UK, second in Grenda, and clinicals in either the US or UK. I'm seriously looking at applying to this program and wanted feedback if anyone has done it, what was it like, the upsides, downsides, etc. I know someone posted that there might be licensing issues with California, but that doesn't worry me at all, as I have lived there before and have NO intention of ever moving back. I'm actually kind of curious about the nationalized health service in UK and was thinking that a year of studying there might help me and my wife decide if we wanted to immigrate there after school (we like the primary school system, my wife is a nurse who wants to become a certified nurse midwife and the system over there is more accepting of midwives than here in the States, and also GPs make more than specialists over there). Does anyone have experience with the program or medicine in the UK in general?
Much appreciated.

the UK's officiating board, the GMC will only accredit your medical training if you spend a solid 50% of your education at the main campus aka 2 years in Grenada.

I am interested in your situation...it's been a few years, so how did everything turn out?

I hope for the best :)

Really? The OP hasn't posted on SDN since September 2009, and you want to know how things are going?
