So I'm in my second year of dental school and want to preface that I am not the most book smart student. I just want to see if anyone else is going through what I am.
Throughout my first year I did decent on tests and really good on practical's. Now in year 2 I'm really struggling. I feel like I'm putting in a lot of effort to do well and my grades aren't showing it. Meanwhile I see a lot of my classmates doing really well when it seems like they aren't putting in half the effort I am. NOW before anyone takes that the wrong way, this isn't a diss on them in any way. A lot of my classmates are brilliant and good friends. No hate towards them. It's just hard to constantly put in the effort when my grades are showing that I don't. I'm not sure what to do or how to turn it around.
Anyone else feel this way or have any tips?
