Anyone else interested in going to school in the UK?

If you go abroad for dental school, you have to repeat schooling in the US if you intend to practice here. However, some schools will give you advanced placement so you only have to do 3 years instead of 4 if you completed dental school abroad.

I'm just wondering if there are any abroad programs for dental school. Any help would be much appreciated.
interesting thought, i'm actually thinking if it's possible to do the rotation there, although i should be focusing on my upcoming exam first. 🙁

hmmm... thats no good... as I would really like to study abroad for sometime, I wish there was some kind of partnership program between schools.

Are there any dental schools here in the US that may have a partnership program with overseas schools?

this is the first time i heard of this.. pretty cool.. so.. can ppl go to dental school outside the country and practice in the U.s?.. .. i know a couple of my friends from college chose to go to medical school out of the country.. (which i personally hated it b/c it seems like it was the easy way out for them since they were all rejected from med school in the States).. .. is it hard or legit for ppl to go this route???.. i really want to know myself.. thanks ppl!

hey... i know how it can be seen as a backup route to go the Caribbean schools if you didnt get in... but believe me, its not EASY or these people are not DUMB.
I say this because my sister currently is going there. She had amazing GPAs, great personality skills, and were extremely active in their school (dean's scholarship, leader of several cultural events, even worked at several places).... and she still didnt get in. Why? its too darn competitive. She applied TWICE. heck, the schools didnt even give her a valid reason.

And just cuz they are in the Caribbean doesnt mean they are just sipping on margaritas on the beach while studying and getting a tan. those kids study their BOOTY off. my sis maintains her frikin 4.0 GPA god knows how... but ofcourse...once they are done with their test, they have fun things to do 🙂
plus, its not like they WANT to be there. tuition is hella high.

sorry for the semi-rant. i just had to provide some justification on my sisters behalf. 🙂
